- The total contract price stated on the Confirmation is based on the specific service and hours outlined therein. If you find any errors, notify Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc. at once for a revised quote/confirmation to be issued.
- If you make any changes to the itinerary and/or you exceed the amount of time on which the quote/confirmation is based, the customer agrees to pay any additional charges at the prevailing tariff rates.
- Driver's hours of service must comply with the Federal, Provincial, U.S. and Parkinson Coach Regulations. CUSTOMERS CAN BE CHARGED & HELD LIABLE FOR EXCEEDING REGULATIONS. (See attached Hours of Service Policy.)
- Unless otherwise stated in the quote/confirmation, all applicable fees, such as tolls, parking, admission and related taxes are not included in the price quoted or confirmed.
- A deposit equal to 25% ($100.00) minimum of the total quoted/confirmed price is due and payable 30 days prior to trip date. This is refundable only at the discretion of the management of Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc.
- Cancellations: It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc. of a cancellation 72 hours (minimum) prior to trip departure. Weather cancellations must be a minimum of 12 hours prior to departure. Failure to notify us will result in a cancellation fee based on the prevailing tariff rates (normally 25%). A $100.00 minimum administration fee will apply.
- All property will be handled at the passengers risk. Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc. will not be held responsible for lost articles. Specific equipment and/or drivers cannot be guaranteed.
- All damages or "special cleaning" fees caused by passengers will be assessed by Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc. and will be charged to the customer, if deemed necessary.
- Law strictly prohibits smoking and alcohol consumption on board any Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc. vehicle.
- Delays due to uncontrollable or difficult road, border or weather conditions are not the responsibility of Parkinson Coach Lines 2000 Inc.
- Returned cheques are subject to a $30.00 fee to cover administration and bank charges.

NEW FEDERAL/PROVINCIAL REGULATIONS
DRIVER HOURS OF SERVICE
EFFECTIVE JAN. 1 ST, 2007, driver's hours of service have changed and are strictly regulated by Federal and Provincial laws. These laws limit the number of hours a driver can drive in a day and the length of a work shift.
These are the Changes:
- Your driver can drive up to 13 hours in a day, OR 10 Hours in the U.S., after which he or she must take 8 consecutive hours off-duty in a hotel or in his/her own home.
- Your driver cannot drive after being on-duty for 14 consecutive hours in a day, (regardless of the number of driving hours) or 16 hours provided 2 hours off duty during a 16-hour period after which he/she must take 8 consecutive hours off duty before driving again.
- Time is calculated when your driver starts to work at our yard or a hotel and must be parked and off duty at the end of the 15 th hour in a day. PCL company policy is maximum 15 consecutive hours.
Shared Responsibility for Compliance
- Not only are Drivers & Bus Companies liable Now also the Third Party.
- THIRD PARTY RESPONSIBILITY: (Tour operators, Group Leaders/tour guides, Teachers, Chaperones, Hockey Coaches, trip organizers, user of the service, etc.) Must not request, require or allow a driver to break the rules or face charges from the Ministry of Transportation.
- Shared responsibility means any or all three parties can potentially be charged for a driver hours of service violation
